Troubleshooting: Testers Can't Download My App

Testers reporting they can't install your app? These are the most common reasons your opt-in link fails — and exactly how to fix each one.

1. Country Restrictions

Did you limit availability to specific countries? Our testers are global. Action: Go to Production/Testing track → Countries → Add all countries.

2. Review Pending

Is your change still "In Review"? Users cannot download the app until the track status is "Active".

3. Email List Not Updated

Did you press Save after adding the Google Group email? Double-check the email address for typos.

4. Cache Issues

Sometimes the Play Store link takes a few hours to propagate. Ask testers to clear their Play Store cache or try the web link.
